Sorry everyone, I’ve been driving for the past 11 hours, never really updated!

Now, for some neat stuff! I get to keep Tucker! Apparently the dealer saw it as Tucker being too expensive to bring to California, so they just paid it off instead.

I’ve driven 919 miles in 12 hours, an average of 76mph, and that’s including getting stuck in LA traffic.

Also, I hit Denver in 3 hours. I kinda need some sleep at some point in this trip lol

I wonder whether the unibody is different on the Smart Electric Drive.

Because if it isn’t, I’m thinking, get a Smart ED battery, then swap in a rear motor from a RWD or PxxD Model S.

Wow, that’s some serious driving. I did 950 kms in 8 hours on Friday, but that’s a whole different level. Is the new car just like you wanted?

Hate to break it to you but the changes are big enough that that idea isn’t viable with a reasonable budget. Not to mention those batteries cost about as much as the whole car. And to add the icing to my buzzkill cake, the motor you’re thinking of is almost as wide as the smart, no chance of fitting.
